We aim at teaching you to master the instrument based on music you like. Input by the pupil on which styles he or she likes to learn to play is what makes it fun and personal.

It is essential that playing the instrument stays fun. Together we will keep working on this through musical choices, approach and gradual introduction of the different elements within the lessons.

The normal (but necessary) "dull music theory" is incorporated in music that the pupil enjoys listening to and ultimately enjoys playing. This approach usually motivates the pupil to keep practising and enjoy playing the instrument and learning it properly.

Playing together building upon the lessons that were previously enjoyed is an important part of the lessons. Learning the instrument means playing it and playing it together gives immediate indication of progress and adds to the motivation. Even beginners will "make music" from the beginning.
