Joe Walsh is of course very well known as a member of the Eagles. In his long career he has played Duesenberg guitars, and now Duesenberg has made a signature model specially for mr. Walsh! Being one of the most influential and and complete guitar musicians of his time it is not a surprise that would go for Duesenberg!
Unique pickup combination
The Duesenberg Aliance Joe Walsh is equipped with a pickup combination that is unique to this guitar. In the bridge position a Little toaster pickup is found while the neck position is filled with a Duesenberg HSC Single twin. This combination makes sure of a clear and crisp but full sound, als can be expected from a guitar named after one of the Eagles. The Duesenberg Aliance Joe Walsh is best suited for rock and country tones, but a guitar of this quality can basically do anything!
Duesenberg wouldn’t be Duesenberg if they didn’t put some neat little features in this guitar. The neck inlays spell Joe Walsh’s name in Morse code, this is a reference to Walsh’s fondness of radio operation. The Tibetan Knot on the top between both pickups is a symbol of very personal meaning to Joe which he also carries as a tattoo.
