The Duesenberg Starplayer TV Mke Campbell was made in celebration of the 30th anniversary of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. One of these Heartbreakers was none less than mike Campbell. Mark Campbell has been a Duesenberg player for many years and for very good reason. He is, while not the most famous guitar player, definitely one of the most influential guitar players in the world.
Great and versatile tones
Just like many other guitars from Duesenberg the Starplayer TV Mike Campbell uses a humbucker and a P-90 pickup. The Duesenberg Grand Vintage Humbucker packs a lot of horsepower while still have very clear and articulate tone. The Duesenberg Domino P-90 that is placed in the neck position is a great choice for stratty and airy chords or leads. You can’t go wrong with this guitar for almost any music style. Duesenberg are state-of-the-art both tone wise and sound wise and this guitar is a very viable proof of that statement.
Diamond Deluxe Tremola
The tremolo fitted onto the Duesenberg Starplayer TV Mike Campbell is, as the name already sort of implies, one of the best of it kind. Don’t be afraid to abuse it a little, your tuning will stay just fine! If you allow this guitar to be your constant companion on the road, in the studio and on stage, it will not disappoint you!
