The JHS Pedals Superbolt V2 is inspired by the classic Supro amps from the 1960s. The pedal is very touch-sensitive and it brims with tube rectifier colored tones. There are three black rotary controls: Volume, Tone and Drive.
The Drive control lets you set the amount of gain/overdrive in your sound, and you can control the overall volume with the Volume knob. Thanks to the versatile Tone control, you can go from a mellow, focused and slightly dark tone to a sharp, biting sound. This makes the JHS Pedals Superbolt V2 perfect for any style, from jazz to classic rock.
The mini toggle switch allows you to choose between two gain settings, like the Hi/Lo inputs on a vintage tube amp. The down position of the switch will give you cleaner, more mellow tones, while the up position gives you more headroom and overdrive.
The JHS Pedals Superbolt V2 is powered with a 9 volt power supply, but it internally converts the power to 18V for more headroom.
