This rare Japanese-made aluminum-bodied medium size solid body has plenty of great tones to pick from and has a warmer and fuller sound than you could ever imagine! It has a nice big Fender full C-profile neck with good frets on its fast smooth neck.
Tokai introduced the Talbo Blazing Fire guitar in 1982. Talbo stands for “Tokai Aluminum Body” and the Talbo’s body is made from solid aluminum with a hollow chamber under the pickuguard. This guitar was a departure for Tokai – who at the time were best known for their superb copies of American classic designs. Tokai were justifiably proud of their innovative design – the Talbo’s headstock decal says “The New Legend Of The Guitar History.”
Made of cast aluminum alloy AC-4B, which is commonly used in racing car engines, the Talbo’s design is simple and elegant, combining new and traditional elements. Basically, it’s like two superimposed teardrops with the tips pointing right and left to yield a bi-level, sculptured double cutaway. Its headstock decal reads “The New Legend Of The Guitar History.”
The aluminium body is mostly solid, but with a large hollow chamber for the controls and for weight reduction. It had Blazing Fire pickups, a bridge humbucker and two single coils. The neck is made of maple and is bolted to the body.
The Talbo Blazing Fire is a quality guitar, comfortable, easy to play, with a great sound.
